In the Old Testament, the Law was the main thing and became a reference for the life of the Israelites. Because the law itself is all the commandments, statutes, and teachings that God gave to the Israelites. So they assume that obedience to the law can provide salvation. So in this study, the author conducts a textual analysis of the letters of the apostle Paul that explain the role of the Law and in human life and its relationship with salvation. In addition, in this study the author tries to look at the concept of redemption by Jesus Christ according to Paul's view. And the results of this study then show how the law and the redemption carried out by Jesus Christ are combined in Paul's theological view to form the concept of human salvation. The conclusion of this research shows how Paul's theology views the role of the Law and Christ's redemption in providing salvation for humans. This research uses the literature study method, in which the information obtained is collected through books, journals, and some other literature related to this topic.
